A Manchester resident, Blu Zeke Daly, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly, has been charged following a shooting involving a federal officer in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire announced that Daly, 26, faces one count of attempted murder of a federal officer and one count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon.
According to the criminal complaint, on the evening of February 21, 2026, a Border Patrol agent encountered Daly driving alone in Stewartstown near the Canadian border. When asked if he had used any other names, Daly reportedly drove away from the scene. The agent followed at a distance until shortly after midnight on February 22, when Daly arrived at the closed Pittsburg Port of Entry on the United States-Canada border. As the agent activated his emergency lights and exited his vehicle near the locked gate, Daly began to turn and fired a handgun at him. The Border Patrol agent returned fire with his service weapon and shot Daly.
Daly is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in New Hampshire under guard.
If convicted of attempted murder or assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon, Daly could face up to 20 years in prison and fines up to $250,000 for each charge. Sentencing decisions will be made by a federal district court judge based on applicable sentencing guidelines and statutes.
The FBI is leading the investigation into this incident. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexander S. Chen is handling prosecution duties.
“The details contained in the complaint are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
